You may already be using Zimbio.com for automatic backlinks to your blog. You should : free backlink automation is pretty much as good as it gets for backlinks !
How Does Zimbio Work ?
You can do 2 things with Zimbio : write and send articles and/or send your feed to syndicate your content with them.
Readers can then read your post from inside Zimbio.com.
The advantages are that you get new readers from Zimbio, but mostly, you get automated backlinks pointing to your site.
How About Duplicate Content Issues With Zimbio ?
Some webmasters are concerned about duplicate content issues. Since your blog post will be published on another sites, that means different URL’s with the same content on them.
What everybody wants to know is, does Google know that MY content is the original and the most important.
YES, Google knows.
Since it is pointing back to your blog, Google will eventually figure it out. What typically happens is, your Zimbio post WILL USUALLY rank HIGHER then your original blog posts, because Zimbio has a higher page rank then your new blog. But only at first, for a few weeks. Then Google “gets it” and ranks your blog post higher.
I always send my feed to Zimbio when I am starting promoting a website. I want it to be in the beginning of my link building campaign so that Google “figures it out” as soon as possible.
I heard about people who send their feed to Zimbio on established sites, and the site just disappeared from Google. It comes back, but that of course freaks people out completely, so I recommend sending you site to Zimbio early in your marketing campaign
What Other Sites Are Like Zimbio.com
Here are the sites I use to automate backlinks by just sending my feed
Zimbio.com – Send your feed for real backlinks automation. You can also just send articles. But not really recommended for traffic. Some people use Zimbio for traffic, but they send articles and incite people to go to their Website.
BlogCatalogue - I actually get hits to my site with Blog Catalogue. I think the way the blog posts are displayed in the Website really incites people to click-through and go to your blog directly. You have to syndicate your blog RSS feed to them, put a code on your site to identify that you are the owner and it takes a few days to get approved. Once approved, you can take away the code in your website.
**update : BlogCatalogue had a little facelift recently and they don’t accept blog in their network as easily : my advice is to wait a little before submitting. Don’t send new blogs or blogs with little content.
MyBlogLog – You need a Yahoo account to log in MyBlogLog and it works a lot like BlogCatalogue, except your blog won’t go into review. There is a lot of stuff in there, but I just enter my blog to syndicate the feed.
You Say Too - Pay attention here, because YouSayToo gets pretty interesting… they PAY YOU ! $$$$ It works like Zimbio : you send your feed so readers can view you blog posts from inside You Say Too and you can also send articles. You can insert your AdSense ID and Amazon ID and YouSayToo shares profits from what you publish.

I never got a lot of traffic from YouSayToo, but I do get a little AdSense income every month and hands off automatic backlinks, from doing literally nothing more than writing posts on my blog.
More about YouSayToo :
- you can submit just about any kind of blogs : live journal, blogger, self hosted blogs
- you have to put a link back to YouSayToo on your blog and leave it there. I put it way down in my footer, and it works fine there
- you need a minimum of 3 posts before sending your feed, and it doesn’t pull the posts that are already published. Only future posts will show up on YouSayToo. So – put your blogs in there early – as soon as you have 3 posts.

My Lot – My Lot is one of the original sites for participating and getting paid kind of sites. You can even make money for small tasks like signing up for stuff. You can also send your blog there. The submission process is a little difficult – well the whole site is overwhelming – but it’s still is backlinking and getting paid

You can add your blog there too – they pay with adsense. Don’t use it much, but plan on playing around more over there
RateitAll – Adsense Sharing
RedGage – RedGage has the option of importing your content, but it never worked for me ! lol I am still gonna put the link cause you can still make money in there and maybe they may even fix that problem.
RedGage.com – They sand you a Visa card to transfer you money

I stumbled upon that zimbio site once, but did not have an interest with it before. I happen to search some of reviews with zimbio.com before actually using it. Thanks for the good and extensive review. I’ll try this with my sites. I think it will have good feedback.

I don’t know much about zimbio, but I am using You Say Too, and it is pretty awesome. To think that other websites offers you virtually the same same service, and even ask you to pay per month for the backlinks or for them publishing your feed, couple with the fact that You say Too on the contrary shares their revenue with you, it is simply the best ever.
