Why You Will Love Xomba :

I know A LOT of sites work exactly like Xomba, but I am liking more and more Xomba, cause it has a little of everything that I want out of an article directory :

  1. Xomba doesn’t review your articles before publishing. That gives you alot of control : you can go in and out of your article whenever you want.
  2. You can put pictures in your articles AND bookmarks (called here Xombytes and Xomblubs)
  3. The minimum word count for an article is 150 words. Sometimes, that can be useful when you need to go straight to the point.
  4. They DO rank very good in Google for very little competition keywords
  5. They DO allow direct affiliate links (as long as you are giving useful and original information and no misleading links)
  6. There IS traffic from the inside (some people where reading someone else’s article and somehow was directed to yours)

Sounds like the perfect place for spammers, but no !! They actually manage to keep it clean and safe. And fun !

How do you Make Money With Xomba ?

Xomba makes money when readers click on the ads. They will share profits with the authors 50/50. You will need to have a Google AdSense ID to include it in your Xomba profile.

How Much Does Xomba Pay ?

Xomba does not pay you directly, you will be paid by Google. You need to check your earnings directly in your Google AdSense account. How much you will earn will depend of you, of course.

The biggest misconception is, when people are not making money, they think they are just not writing interesting article. That is horribly wrong. To make money with Xomba ( or any AdSense sharing site) you need to know a little about keyword research, about AdSense ads and promotion. sign up here and start reading their Making Money Guides

Are You Allowed to Have Many Different Accounts With XOMBA ?

YES. Some people prefer to have different pen names, to write for different subjects. You cannot write under different pen names in one Xomba account. But Xomba will allow you to open many accounts and you can choose a different user name and profile for each niche if you want to. And yes, you can put your adsense ID in all those Xomba accounts.

Each of your accounts will have their own feeds too (that was for funky feed marketers out there)

As far as I could see Xomba is NoFollow. And, according to their TOS they only allow affiliate links for Amazon and eBay. Looks like a nice site though.

    Allo Francois,

You are right – the links from Xomba are “nofollow” – but not too long ago they were dofollow

but about the affiliate links : I send them an email asking about this before writing this post, and here was their answer

You can include them in your posts as long as each post contains
    useful and original information.

This was not even 2 months ago. They did reorganized the TOS section, and you are right about them mentioning only Ebay and Amazon… I’ll have to write them another email, cause I link to affiliate sites all the time…

I am just noticing them now because they are my competitors in some long tail niches. But I hate as it is nofollow. I would have used them to get a backlink.

I love Xomba. They are no follow, BUT they get ranked quickly and highly in GOOGLE, so use it to promote your blog or website as the link in the bookmark. I use this all the time and my blog that has terriable ranking gets TONS of traffic from Xomba.
